Kettlebells

Kettlebells are fast becoming the next big thing in strength and fitness training and for good reason! Nothing beats swinging a large chunk of metal for a timed period to get your heart-rate soaring and your core firing. Whether you are looking to lose fat or build gut wrenching strength there is a kettlebell workout to suit you that will deliver amazing results. Like all new exercise regime’s you should never attempt to “just try it and see what happens”. What about sandbags?

As used by strongmen and athletes for centuries, sandbags will use your body in a way that no other weight bearing exercise can. Because of the unstable, constantly shifting nature of sandbag weight your core stability is challenged doing the simplest of lifts and moves with a sandbag.

One of the really great things about sandbag strength training is the versatility that comes with using an implement that is virtually indestructible, you pick it up and throw, drop it, press it, toss it, just about anything you can think of it and it will cause no damage to floors or itself. The same can’t be said for your muscles. Try ripping out a set of sand bag squat and presses and see how you are feeling.
