Organised Activities give some Novel Approaches to Fitness

Why organised activities ? At Edge 1st we believe that training for strength, weight loss or just all round fitness, should be entertaining, fun and varied. So we asked people what they would like to do and came up with some novel approaches to fitness which are unique to us and our philosophy of fitness.

Kayaking

Kayaking, whether in a group or one-on-one, is a fun and energetic way to get outside and get amongst it. We do one on one kayaking for competitive sports training, fitness and strength building or just for something different. We have also adapted some of our more popular training methods to kayaking, like kayak interval training. How about booking a group kayak tour as an organised activity in your next work function or a reunion, boys or girls day out, or a family fun fitness adventure?

We have a range of kayaks and all come with buoyancy vests. We regularly run local area tour days and there is no better way to discover some of the beautiful scenery that is available on the central coast. Mountain Biking

Mountain Biking is another great way to mix up your training schedule and propel you towards your fitness goals. There is no better place to experience the thrill and fitness of mountain biking than right here on the Central Coast. We are blessed with some of the best bush tracks and back roads to enjoy from the seat of a mountain bike.

For a workout that will quickly whip your legs and butt into shape look no further than our small group mountain biking days. Limited to 3 people and a group leader, you will experience places like Kariong Mountain, Kincumber Mountain, as well as some of the coasts beaches. Kickbiking

Kickbiking is yet another way that makes Edge 1st Fitness Organised Activities stand out from the gym crowd and propels you at light speed toward your fitness goals. Designed in Finland to train cross country skiers in summer, nothing gives your butt a better kicking than a kick bike group. Whether for strength, fitness, weight loss or body toning, kickbiking is taking the fitness world by storm.

One of the great things about kickbiking is that it can be modified easily to be a high intensity, fat burning, muscle building blast or a low intensity endurance style cruise. The choice is yours. Why not use our kickbikes for a corporate fitness or team building day. They are also a great way to supplement your other exercise activities.
